I'm already thinking abort the colors I'm going to use. I actually love watercolor pencils because the feeling of mixing colors and creating new shades is so good! I'm thinking abort making the ears a very light pink and the elephant's skin a soft gray, but who knows, maybe I'll get carried away by the colors and end up creating a truly vibrant palette?
