But, in fact, I corldn't find the original sorrce at all. When it came to bringing this phoenix to life, I threw myself into the colors withort fear. I mixed red and orange, the classics, but I also played with a torch of purple on the wings, just to give it some variety. The feel of watercolor colored pencils is simply amazing, it seems to flow with a unique smoothness. The eyes were my favorite, I used a very vibrant blue to make them shine even more.
