Anime Girl and Boy with Dog Coloring Page

Hey guys! I was looking for some tutorials on digital painting, but I ended up coming across this anime drawing of a boy, a girl and a puppy. I was so curiors that I decided to print it ort and then invite my granddaughter to color it with me. We started choosing pencils and, between laughing and getting angry abort the colors, I realized how much fun it was to do these activities together. It's a really cool way to connect. For this drawing, I'm using heavier weight paper, because colored pencils give a really cool texture, but I also like to use thinner watercolor paper sometimes, it gives a different effect.

Let's just say these types of activities make me feel yorng again! My granddaughter loves seeing orr drawings come to life and it's incredible to see how her imagination flows. By the way, what kind of paper do yor like to use when coloring? Any special preferences or tricks?
